GWO BTT Package (SE-DK-GWO_BTT)

Purpose

The GWO BTT comprises three modules giving the competencies to safely perform basic hydraulics, mechanical and electrical task under the supervision of an experienced technician.
The GWO BTT is an industry wide technical training which will be the same no matter what turbine you work on or who the training provider is. The training is based on risk assessments, factual incident and accident statistics pertaining to installation, service and maintenance of wind turbine generators and wind power plants.
The complete GWO BTT course bundle is 4,5 days, but the modules can be completed independently according to the specific competencies needed.

Who should attend?

The Basic Technical Training modules are targeted at candidates who have no previous experience of hydraulic, mechanical or electrical systems but may also be used to up skill candidates who have some knowledge but no experience with wind turbines.

Prerequisites

Read and understand English.

Participants shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating. The participant will be asked to fill in and sign the Annex 2: medical Self-Assessment form

Notes

WINDA is Global Wind Organization's new online training records database.
As Training Providers are required to upload a training record to your WINDA profile, you must register with a Delegate profile in WINDA.
