Avanti wire traction service lifts Installation, Inspection and Maintenance (Virtual) GL (SE-P-21760)

Purpose

This remote training will teach participants on the proper safety attitude towards daily and scheduled safety inspections. The participants will gain knowledge and skills about the functionality, installation and inspection of the Avanti Wire Traction Lift with Avanti ASL and M500 series traction hoist..

Learn about the importance of daily, annual and 10 year inspection
Learn about the main components
Learn about ASL and Traction Hoistcomponents and their usage
Learn how to Inspect and service the lifts, including ASL and traction Hoist
Introduction to relevant documentation

Who should attend?

Personnel expected to use, install, Inspect and maintain AVANTI wire guided lifts
(Shark, SWP, Dolphin, Stingray, Beluga and GE)

Notes

This is a blended virtual training; theoretical part as virtual class room and the practical part on site.
Part 1: 4 hour virtual class room
Part 2: 8 hour on equipment*
Part 3: 4 hour virtual class room
Please have 1 named person on site allocated as responsible point of contact between the instructor and the participants and site.
*All practice is to be done on a fully operative service lift (Avanti wire guided) (no tranfer time offshore included). Tools required:

• - Tachometer - or similar
• - Weight for overload test
• - Security torx 40
• - 2 step ladder
• - Lockout tool (Padlock)
• - Multimeter with clamps
• - Handtools
• - Spanner set
• - Thickness gauge
• - Socket set
• - Oil sample set
• - Cable tie
• - Cable with plugs

Validity
24 months
100 percent of course fee after 30 days before the start of course.
