Commissioning and Troubleshooting Direct Drive Technology Platform (SE-P-08593)

Purpose

The overall purpose of the course is for the participants to understand, demonstrate, and apply system knowledge, to perform commissioning and troubleshooting tasks, specific to a Siemens Direct Drive technology turbine.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course the participants must be able to:
Knowledge:

• - Identify the commissioning tasks for the various systems
• - Point-out the interconnection between the electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• - Explain the theory and operation of the various systems

Skills:

• - Illustrate the operational process of the converter
• - Demonstrate practical troubleshooting on turbine systems using the 7 steps process
• - Identify the required technical documentation needed to analyze and test the system fault

Behavior:

• - Work following established safety procedures
• - Apply Troubleshooter philosophy

SE-P-85400 SGTT - General Electrical Awareness eLearning course
SE-P-08595 C-T SICS 1&2 Controller OR SE-P-08598 C-T SICS Turbine controller

The participants should be able to read and understand the course language.
The participants should have a functional laptop with administrative access.
