Commissioning and Troubleshooting Self Sustained Turbine Training (SE-P-09916)

Purpose

The overall aim of the course is to provide the participant with the additional knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and troubleshoot faults in a Self Sustained Turbine system during commissioning and troubleshooting.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course the participants must be able to:
Knowledge
  • - Explain the specific documentation, setup and operation of the Self Sustained Turbine system
  • - Categorize the alarm codes related to the specific Self Sustained Turbine system
  • - Identify the correct settings in AA11 is set to SST
  • - Explaine the correct handling of the batteries
Skills
  • - Being able to start up & Stop the Self Sustained Turbine system
  • - Apply the proper tools to identify, analyze and resolve faults in the Self Sustained Turbine system
Behavior
  • - Work following established safety procedures
  • - Apply Commissioning & Troubleshooter philosophy

Who should attend?

The course is optional and intended for technicians who are in need for the special knowledge on this specific Self Sustained Turbine system.

Prerequisites

Course prerequisite is:
  • - SE-P-85400 General Electrical Awareness eLearning course
Or
  • - SE-P-05015 Regional AM General Electric Awareness Refresher
The participants should hold a qualification profile in one of the following profiles:
  • - CT-I
  • - CT-C
  • - HV-T
  • - TS
