Technical Product Training Siemens Geared Platform (TPT SG Platform) (SE-P-09844)

Purpose

The overall purpose of the course is to qualify field service and commissioning technicians in the scheduled maintenance and mechanical completion of the Siemens Geared (SG) platform.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course the participants are able to:
  • - Apply knowledge of turbine systems and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy technical documentation to perform mechanical completion or scheduled maintenance.
  • - Explain technical and safety guidelines.
  • - Practice scheduled maintenance and mechanical completion to build practical competence in the field.

Contents

Upon completion of the course the participants have obtained the following qualifications:
  • - Able to explain to colleagues the process of performing scheduled maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • - Able to carry out tasks from the relevant checklist in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy safety standards, technical manuals, and work instructions under supervision of a designated competent technician .
  • - Able to work with various tools and chemicals safely in order to satisfy the tasks on the specific checklist.
  • - Able to describe mechanical and electrical LOTO
  • - Able to fill out the required documentation for completing all the tasks for scheduled service or mechanical completion.

Who should attend?

The course is intended for all technicians that will be performing scheduled maintenance or mechanical completion on Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Siemens Geared turbines.

SE-P-85400 General Electrical Awareness eLearning course (L-AUS)
SE-P-50560 SGTT-LOTO awareness eLearning and SE-P-50565 SGTT-LOTO awareness training
OR SE-P-50568 LOTO Awareness and Zero Energy Verification (Region NAM)
SE-P-86350 WTC - 3 Controller Hand Terminal user eLearning


The two courses below will replace SE-P-50560 and SE-P-50565 and grant access but will require contact to training center for booking.
  • - SE-P-05600 Electrical Zero Energy Training

  • - Accreditation ex-SWP Level 3 Operational Experience
