Commissioning and Troubleshooting ABB 800 DFIG Converter training (SE-P-09934)

Purpose

The overall aim of the course is to provide the participant with the additional knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and troubleshoot faults in a converter system during commissioning and unscheduled service tasks.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course the participants must be able to:
Knowledge
  • - Explain the specific documentation, setup and operation of the converter system
  • - Categorize the alarm codes related to the specific converter system
  • - Identify the correct diagnostic software
Skills
  • - Apply the proper tools to identify, analyze and resolve faults in the converter system
  • - Operate the diagnostic software for the specific converter
Behavior
  • - Work following established safety procedures
  • - Apply Troubleshooter philosophy

Who should attend?

The course is optional and intended for technicians who are in need for the special knowledge on this specific converter type

Prerequisites

SE-P-85400 General Electrical Awareness eLearning course
The participants should have a functional laptop with administrative access and the converter diagnostic software installed.
The participants should have a functional SEFE DS and have access to it.
The participants should be able to read and understand the course language.
