Offshore Lockout / tagout training for LoTo Operational Controller (OC/NP) (OF-4013)
Purpose
To provide safety from the system when using an EIP when POI are applied and/or when POI are temporary removed for testing or temporary operationObjectives
The training enable the person to understand the requirements to understand procedures, instructions, WI, RA and EIPs which they have to administer and have the managerial position to control and manage. The OC understands his / her responsibility during work activities for the safe operation of hazardous energy systemsContents
- Ensuring that correctWork Packages are available for the LOTO instructed person.- Ensure that correctWork Packages are used for specific tasks.
- Ensure that the persons performing work has the required competences and required certificates.
- Administer the LOTOinstruction.
- Administer theWork Packages system and EIP log system.
- Approve all LoTo Transfer /suspension.
- To identify find the right EIP for the planned work
Who should attend?
Primarily installation leads with a SMCF profile, or technical supervisoes with a a PWTCF /WTCF profile who has been assigned to manage the lockout / tagoutPrerequisites
