LOTO Awareness and Zero Energy Verification (Region NAM) (SE-P-50568)

Purpose

The overall aim of the course is to provide theoretical and practical training in the SGRE Energy Isolations Procedures (EIPs) used to perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and Zero Energy Verification (ZEV) on Points of Isolations (POI).

Objectives

Upon completion of the course the participants must be able to:
Describe the minimum requirements concerning awareness, knowledge and adoption of safe working practices for hazardous energies.
Abide by the Wind Turbine Competence Framework (WTCF)
Understand Human Performance tools to improve safety
Understand how to identify the documentation and equipment needed to correctly perform mechanical, electrical and pressurized LOTO and ZEV.
Perform Energy Isolation Procedures (EIPs) correctly on mechanical, electrical and pressurized systems.
