WindNet PRO Operation (SE-P-07340)

Purpose

This course is intended for persons that will use a WindNet® PRO SCADA system for daily operation and maintenance of the wind park, adjustment of operating parameters, and generating various historical reports. The participants are trained on daily monitoring, operation, and maintenance. The participants will have access to an operational SCADA system or SCADA simulator which emulates the behavior of the WindNet® PRO.

Objectives

Upon Completion of this training the participants will be able to:

• - Locate the Login GUI and login to WindNet® Pro.
• - Locate global functions, navigation menu, and events panel.
• - Access windfarm and individual turbine current status screens.
• - Send start/stop commands to the windfarm and individual turbines using the HMI.
• - Find power production controls enabling influence over windfarm power production variables.
• - Locate real time data to create and or export reports or graphs.
• - View data graphs within a trend viewer and complete data comparisons

The course is intended for Siemens Gamesa employees, customers, and 3rd parties looking to supplement their base knowledge of Siemens Gamesa's WindNet PRO® SCADA software.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending this class, the participants should have:

• - Basic knowledge of wind park operations
• - Basic knowledge of MS Windows and Internet Explorer
