Simulated On-The-Job Training - Offshore Direct Drive (SE-P-09849)
Purpose
The overall Purpose of the course is to accelerate the ability to complete the On-the-Job Training (OJT) and progress towards being a qualified Maintenance Technician.Objectives
Upon completion of the course the participant must be able to:- - Assist in the process of performing scheduled maintenance
- - Carry out tasks from the relevant checklist in accordance with SiemensGamesa Renewable Energy safety standards, technical manuals, and work instructions under supervision of a designated competent technician.
- - Work with various tools and chemicals safely to satisfy the tasks on the specific checklists.
- - Describe mechanical and electrical LOTO under supervision of a competent technician.
Who should attend?
The course is intended for OF basic technicians that cannot complete 1 (one) full service on-site on a 6Mw - 14Mw Direct Drive turbine.Prerequisites
Technicians must have the following prerequisites to attend the course:- - SE-P-85400 SWP General Electrical Awareness
