Purpose
This logbook must be completed prior to attending any commissioning & troubleshooting / controller training.Objectives
This logbook is to ensure a Maintenance technician (MT) receives a comprehensive overview and on the job training on the process of troubleshooting.Contents
Twelve (12) tasks/faults are required to complete the logbook. These must contain the following: Description of fault /troubleshooting task, how was the fault identified, how it was rectified, tooling & equipment used.Who should attend?

Must be observed and evaluated by a Team lead Troubleshooting technician (TS) to confirm that the technician fully understands all aspects and techniques. They can demonstrate that they and the team can work safely using correct isolation documentation and test equipment. Final sign off should be completed by a site based Senior Technician / Technical Supervisor. It is important that a comprehensive variety of troubleshooting faults / tasks are completed, covering all systems on the turbine.Note: Try to document quality troubleshooting faults/ tasks, not just duplicate the same type of work! Twelve (12) tasks/faults are required to complete the logbook. These must contain the following: Description of fault /troubleshooting task, how was the fault identified, how it was rectified, tooling & equipment used.
Once the final signature has been given, the logbook will be set to completed and count towards the employees profile in SGTrainingweb
