Work Controller (OF-4017)

Purpose

1. To give a candidate a clear understanding of the Safe system of work (SSW)

2: To give a candidate a clear understanding of their responsibilities within the SSW

3. To clarify the Work Controller role remit and parameters

Objectives

This course is used as a control measure and pre-requisite in authorizing people to work in the role of Work Controller (WC) on offshore wind projects.


Upon successful completion of the training, passing of the accompanying test, and in alignment with the PWTCF/role requirements a candidate is able to accept a WC role on SGRE sites.

5. Descriptions of processes, documentation and the day to day management of the SSW on site

Who should attend?

SGRE and 3rd party Installation leads, pre-assembly foreman etc


The role is in managing the safe system of work on project and so management experience is essential.

Training in use of Personal LOTO (OF-4011)
