GWO Enhanced First Aid Refresher (SE-P-50195)

Purpose

The aim of the EFA-R Module is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills from BST First Aid or to refresh current EFA skills through theoretical and practical training so that participants can administer safe and effective enhanced first aid in the wind industry.

Objectives

  • - Take responsibility for administering safe, effective, and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures in an emergency situation in a wind turbine generator (WTG) environment (Ability, intermediate level)
  • - Act independently in giving assistance in remote areas using advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation while having particular regard for personal protection (Ability, intermediate level)

This course will enable all personnel to work with Enhanced First Aid in a safe manner both onshore and offshore.

Delegates are considered competent to work with Enhanced First Aid within GWO accredited companies or sites.
