Simulated On-The-Job Training – Offshore G4 (SE-P-09520)

Purpose

The overall purpose of the course is to accelerate the ability to complete the On-the-Job Training (OJT) and progress towards being a qualified Maintenance Technician.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course the participant must be able to:
  • - Assist in the process of performing scheduled maintenance.
  • - Carry out tasks from the relevant checklist in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy safety standards, technical manuals and work instructions under supervision of a designated competent technician.
  • - Work with various tools and chemicals safely to satisfy the tasks on the specific checklist.
  • - Describe mechanical and electrical LOTO under supervision of a competent technician.

Who should attend?

The course is intended for OF basic technicians that cannot complete 1 (one) full service on-site on a G4 turbine.

Prerequisites

Participant must have completed the SGTT - General Electrical Awareness eLearning (SE-P-85400) before attending the course.
