Rollgliss R350 (SE-P-14000)

Purpose

The training is developed to provide Siemens Wind Power employees as well as third party technicians a safer and more ergonomic tool, when performing e.g. cable work in the tower or work on top of the spinner.

Objectives

The participants will obtain knowledge and skills within:
Safe and correct use of Rollgliss R350 system in combination with Boatswain’s chair.
How to setup the RollGliss with different interchanges.
Allowable loads for the various usages.

Contents

The training is addressed to individuals who are performing wind turbine erection or service.

The training is intended for Siemens Wind Power employees, customers and 3rd parties.

Prerequisites

SE-P-50040 GWO BST Working at Heights
Participants must be physically and medically fit to participate in training.
Personal weight limit fully equipped max. 136 kg /299,8 lbs (incl. all PPE, equipment, clothing, etc.)

Notes

After training the participants will be qualified to work with both Rollgliss R350 system and Boatswains chair.
