GWO BST Working at Heights Refresher (SE-P-50240)

Purpose

The purpose of this course is to review and build on previously gained knowledge, skills and abilities through practical training so participants can use basic personal protective equipment, work safely at height and perform safe and comprehensive basic rescue from height in a wind turbine environment.

Objectives

After having successfully completed this course, the participant can:
  • - Act independently and safely when using basic personal protective equipment, Working at Height techniques, and performing comprehensive basic rescue from heights in a remote wind turbine environment.

Who should attend?

The course is intended for personnel who will work in the wind industry or related fields and have duties in a wind turbine environment.
It applies to personnel whose employer or workplace duty holder has identified exposure to fall hazards, ladder climbing, evacuation, rescue or work with personal fall protective equipment.

Prerequisites

Valid GWO BST Working at Heights OR GWO BST Working at Heights Refresher
All Delegates participating in this training shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating.
Delegates shall sign a statement that they are medically fit to participate and they do not suffer from any medical illness or are under influence of any narcotic substance or alcohol
Personal weight limit fully equipped max. 136 kg /299,8 lbs (incl. all PPE, equipment, clothing, etc.)
