Commissioning and Troubleshooting Siemens Geared Technology Platform (SE-P-08930)
Purpose
The overall purpose of the course is for the participants to understand, demonstrate, and apply system knowledge, to perform commissioning and troubleshooting tasks, specific to a Siemens geared technology turbine.Objectives
Knowledge:- - Identify the commissioning tasks for the various systems
- - Point-out the interconnection between the electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- - Explain the theory and operation of the various systems
- - Explain the differences of the converters in the Siemens Geared platforms
- - Illustrate the operational process of the converter
- - Demonstrate practical troubleshooting on turbine systems using the 7 steps process
- - Identify the required technical documentation needed to analyze and test the system fault
- - Work following established safety procedures
- - Apply Troubleshooter philosophy
